For years, the Norse chieftain Barde has kept One Eye, a silent fighter of mystical powers, captive. One Eye kills his captor with the help of Are, a young slave, and the two flee together, embarking on a trip into the heart of death. One Eye and Are board a Viking ship on their journey, but the ship is quickly shrouded in an eternal fog that only clears when the crew sees an unfamiliar land. One Eye finds his true self when the modern world opens its mysteries and the Vikings face their horrible and gruesome death.
