Overview
Sammy and Ray, two leatherback turtles who have been companions for a long time, are loving the water and sand of an atoll while shepherding new hatchlings Ricky and Ella out to sea. Suddenly, a poacher swoops in and transports them to Dubai, where they will be part of a dazzling aquarium display for visitors. Big D the seahorse, the place’s kingpin, enlists them in his grand escape plans. Sammy and Ray hatch breakout dreams of their own for their new mates Jimbo the bug-eyed blob fish and Lulu the snippy lobster, Annabel the friendly Octopus, and a whole family of penguins. That’s when Ricky and Ella show up, ready to save them by breaking in. Our heroes travel south to find Shelly, Sammy’s first and only girlfriend, after a series of exciting adventures and narrow escapes.
