Beyond Borders is a sprawling epic set against the background of the world’s most volatile hotspots, telling the story of a wild relationship between two star-crossed lovers. Sarah Jordan, an American living in London in 1984, is played by Academy Award nominee Angelina Jolie. When she meets Nick Callahan, a renegade doctor whose impassioned cry for assistance to fund his humanitarian efforts in war-torn Africa moves her emotionally, she is married to Henry Bauford, the son of a rich British industrialist. As a result, Sarah embarks on a voyage of adventure that takes her to the far reaches of the globe, where she encounters risk, heartbreak, and romance.
