Who makes the decision on who deserves a second chance?

When accused child murderer Jack Burridge (Andrew Garfield) is released from a juvenile rehabilitation facility, he seeks employment as a deliveryman and starts dating a coworker, Michelle (Katie Lyons). When out on the road one day, the young Englishman finds a lonely infant and becomes a local star after reuniting the baby with her relatives. However, after his history is revealed by a local publication, Jack must deal with the outrage of people who fear for their children’s welfare.
