Overview
Sam Bowden works as a business solicitor in a small community. Max Cady is an insane rapist with tattoos, who smokes cigars and quotes the Bible. What is it that they both have in common? Sam was a public defender appointed to Max Cady’s abuse trial fourteen years earlier, and he committed a major mistake: he withheld from his illiterate defendant a text that should have had him convicted.
