The personification of a century

This film depicts the Berlin drug scene in the 1970s, based on Christiane F.’s tape recordings. Christiane, 14, resides in a traditional Berlin multi-story apartment complex with her mother and younger sister. She’s enthralled by the ‘Sound,’ a brand-new nightclub with cutting-edge technology. She wants a buddy to drive her despite the fact that she is technically too young. There she encounters Detlef, who is part of a drug-addled clique. She is gradually pulled further into the scene.
