To find a treatment for Alzheimer’s disease, researchers at the undersea lab Aquatica have genetically altered the brains of captive sharks. However, there was an unintended consequence: the sharks were smarter, quicker, and more aggressive. They must struggle for their life after a large storm destroys their remote testing center.
