The film is set in the tiny North Dakota town of Devil’s Gate and follows the abduction of a local woman and her young son. Schull portrays an FBI investigator who assists the nearby sheriff in his investigation. They track down the missing woman’s husband with the help of a deputy and discover that little is as it appears.
