Overview
Based on the real case of John Wojtowicz and Salvatore Naturale, two would-be Brooklyn bank robbers. Sonny and Sal attempt a bank robbery, which soon goes sideways and escalates into a hostage crisis and a police standoff. The heist becomes a media spectacle when Sonny’s reasons for the theft are gradually uncovered and matters get more complex.
