Are spiders anything you despise? Do you despise spiders? They don’t care about you anymore.

Residents in a small mining town find that a chemical leak has induced hundreds of small spiders to grow to the size of SUVs overnight. The mining engineer Chris McCormack and Sheriff Sam Parker are then tasked with rallying a diverse community of citizens, including the Sheriff’s young son Mike, her daughter Ashley, and paranoid radio announcer Harlan, to battle the bloodthirsty eight-legged beasts.
