The Apache Indians have reluctantly decided to compromise on a reservation that has been accepted by the US government. Not all Apaches are capable of adjusting to life as corn farmers. Geronimo, in fact, is agitated. Geronimo and thirty or so other fighters, pushed off the brink by the government’s broken commitments and necessary deeds, create a strike squad that humiliates the government by evading arrest and wreaking havoc.
