Save the World…While Still Enjoying It!
Get Smart is a satirical American action television series set in the world of secret agents. The show stars Don Adams, Barbara Feldon, and Edward Platt and was created by Mel Brooks and Buck Henry. The show was produced at the behest of Daniel Melnick, who was a collaborator in the show’s development business, Talent Associates, along with Leonard Stern and David Susskind, to draw on “”the two best trends in the entertainment industry today””—James Bond and Inspector Clouseau. “”It’s a crazy mix of James Bond and Mel Brooks humor,”” Brooks said. The only Mel Brooks film with a laugh track is this one.
