When a group of Chicago real estate salesmen learns that all but the top two will be shot by the end of the week, the mood in the workplace quickly becomes tense. Shelley Levene, who has a sick baby, does everything he can to persuade his manager, John Williamson, to have better leads, but to no end. Things become messy for the tough-talking salesmen when his coworker Dave Moss devises a scheme to snatch the leads.
