Who would be extinguished first: man or Godzilla?

After decades of defeating Godzilla and other gigantic beasts, the human race is compelled to abandon Earth in the year 2048. They travel for twenty years to Tau Ceti-e, but when they arrive, they find that the earth has become uninhabitable. When their ship’s living standards deteriorate, a young man called Haruo leads a campaign to return to Earth and reclaim it from the monsters. The ship returns safely, but the crew discovers that it has been twenty thousand years since the Earth’s world developed to become based around Godzilla.
