Howard Langston, a mattress dealer, is still occupied in his work, deceiving his son. After missing the exhibition karate of his son, Howard promises to make things up to him by purchasing an action figure of his son’s favourite Christmas television icon. It’s Christmas Eve, alas, for Howard, and every shop is sold out of Turbo Guy. Now Howard has to ride around the city and fight with everybody else to locate a Turbo Man action figure.
