Overview
Madeleine, a newlywed art dealer, is persuaded by her spouse, George, to visit his family in North Carolina on their way to meet with an independent artist in the South. Madeleine’s opulent lifestyle rubs the family the wrong way, but she befriends George’s wide-eyed and pregnant sister-in-law Ashley, who is about to give birth. Madeleine learns more about George’s personality from his relatives.
