Phil Weston has spent his whole life as a non-athlete. He struggled to make the team in any sport he tried out for in college. Sam, his 10-year-old sibling, seems to be following in his footsteps. When Phil’s hyper-competitive father benches Sam, he agrees to move his son to a new squad that is looking for a coach. Phil takes over as the interim coach and soon gets into a squabble with this father over this fresh rivalry of their lives.
