The menacing government of Niflheim is determined to snatch the world’s only surviving Crystal from the enchanted realm of Lucis. King Regis of Lucis controls the Kingsglaive, an elite army of warriors. They battle to defend Lucis, wielding their king’s magic. As the empire’s sheer military might bears down on him, King Regis must choose between marrying his sibling, Prince Noctis, to Princess Lunafreya of Tenebrae, a prisoner of Niflheim, and surrendering his lands to Niflheim control. Despite the king’s concession, it becomes apparent that the monarchy would go to whatever length to accomplish their nefarious ends, with just the Kingsglaive standing in their way.
