Overview

When the penguins reassemble a wrecked airplane, Alex, Marty, and other zoo animals discover a way to flee Madagascar. The precariously restored craft is only able to survive in the air long enough to reach the African continent. There, for the first time, New Yorkers meet representatives of their own genus. While Africa proves to be a wild spot, Alex and his companions question whether it is better than their Central Park house.
