Vada Sultenfuss is getting ready for her vacation, and she has an assignment: write an article on someone she admires but has never met. She tries to do a project on her mum, but soon realizes she doesn’t know anything about her. She persuades her father to let her go to Los Angeles to stay with her Uncle Phil and do research on her mother.
