Cris Johnson, a Las Vegas showroom wizard, has a mystery that haunts him: he can see a few minutes into the future. He hides in Vegas under an assumed identity, practicing cheap tricks and surviving off small-time gambling “”winnings,”” sick of the tests he endured as a boy and the government’s and medical establishment’s involvement in his influence. When a militant organization attempts to detonate a nuclear bomb in Los Angeles, government agent Callie Ferris must use all of her cunning to apprehend Cris and persuade him to assist her in averting disaster.
