For a group of old high-school mates, a weekend cruise on a lavish party boat goes terribly wrong. They fail to take down the ladder before jumping into the water for a dive. Climbing the boat is difficult. They’re stranded in the middle of the ocean, several miles from land, with Sara alone on board. Sara’s mother, Amy, must deal with both her aquaphobia and the group’s growing desperation as the friends turn on one another. The fatigue of staying alive, as well as the effort to get back on track, soon take their toll. The joyful reunion quickly devolves into a fight for life…
