Overview

This film began as a stage production in Paris. The plot revolves around Bertrand Barnier’s one-day exploits, which he portrays alongside Louis de Funes, a French cinema genius. He discovers that his daughter is pregnant the same morning that an employee robbed a large sum of money from his firm, his maid is about to resign in order to marry a rich neighbor, and his body builder is interested in marrying his daughter. The seemingly convoluted plot is full of humor and mistakes, as well as some of French cinema’s most amusing mime scenes.
