Overview
Gender, weight, height, and intellect are no longer factors in entering the Police Department, thanks to new laws introduced by the Lady Mayoress. To the teachers’ chagrin, this unlocks the floodgates for everyone and all to join the Police Academy. However, not everybody has chosen to be there. Mahoney, a social misfit, is compelled to join as the only way out of a prison term, and it doesn’t take long for him to run into the obnoxious Lieutenant Harris. Still, before long, Mahoney realizes how much he enjoys becoming a police cadet and continues to continue… while Harris decides to fire him!
