After six years of brutal murders, the West Yorkshire Police fear they may have already interviewed The Ripper and released him back into the world to continue his reign of terror over Yorkshire’s citizens. However, things become more difficult for the Police when they discover they are not only hunting The Ripper, but also a copycat killer. With the assistance of John Nolan and Helen Marshall, both detectives from the Manchester Police, Assistant Chief Constable Peter Hunter is called on to oversee the West Yorkshire Police’s Ripper inquiry. They plan to go out to check through the incident files from the Rippers’ suspects and see what they may have overlooked.
