A group of teens discover “”Stay Alive,”” an ultra-realistic 3-D videogame focused on the spine-chilling true tale of a 17th century noblewoman known as “”The Blood Countess,”” after the mysterious and gruesome death of an old acquaintance. The players have no idea what the game is about, only that they’re not meant to have it… because they’re desperate to play it. The kids, unable to avoid the urge, begin to play the gruesome video, but soon realize that they are being executed one by one in the same manner as the game’s protagonists. The teenagers must find a way to beat the cruel and ruthless Blood Countess while still attempting to… remain alive while the distinction between the gaming universe and the actual world blurs.
