John L. Sullivan, a successful movie maker who believes he won’t be able to film his visionary masterpiece before he has sacrificed, disguises himself as a hobo and embarks on a trip to “”know danger”” firsthand. As what he finds is a train trip back to Hollywood and a lovely blonde companion, he bears down on his attempts, just to get himself into more trouble than he bargained for when he loses his memories and becomes a chain gang inmate.
