A small wooden box is sent to Norma and Arthur Lewis, a suburban couple with a young boy, as a present, and it has fatal and irreversible effects. With the click of a button, the package threatens to bestow $1 million upon its maker, according to an enigmatic stranger. However, clicking this button would also result in the death of another human being elsewhere in the world; someone they are unfamiliar with. With just 24 hours to get the package, Norma and Arthur find themselves in the middle of a bizarre philosophical quandary and must confront the real essence of their existence.
