There are certain areas that man was not supposed to travel.

After a community of biologists finds a vast network of unexplored caves in Romania, they recruit the finest American team of underwater cave explorers in the country, claiming it to be an undisturbed eco-system that has created a new animal. A rockslide prevents their escape as they explore further into the underwater tunnels, and they quickly learn that they have been introduced to the food chain of a larger carnivorous species.
