Dr. Walter Newman, a simple man, has a strong desire to heal all conditions by genetic experimentation. His fascination with his quest pulls him further into his own dark universe, distracting him from his wife Olivia and his responsibility for the Edgewood Asylum for his patients. The obedient yet diabolical nurse of the professor, Ms. Tinsley, tries to take it in her own hands and performs her experiment secretly. When Dr. Newman discovers what has been achieved, he creates a deformed monster that defies existence. The human part, the horror part.
