The Wackness is a film set in New York City during the summer that tells the tale of a depressed young cannabis addict who exchanges marijuana for counseling sessions with a drug-addled therapist. Things get much more complex as he develops feelings for one of his friends, who also happens to be the daughter of the doctor. This is a tale about coming of age, sex, narcotics, music, and what it takes to be a guy.
