Overview

After running over his puppy, part-time model Valentine encounters a former judge who lives in her area. Valentine is initially given the dog by the court, but her possessive partner refuses to let her have it. As she goes to the judge’s house with the puppy, she finds him listening in on his neighbors’ phone calls. Valentine is outraged at first, but her discussions with the judge about his actions quickly contribute to a mysterious connection.
