The bloodbath has begun.
A subculture of humans has arisen in the late twenty-first century that have been genetically engineered by a vampire-like plague, granting them improved speed, extraordinary endurance, and acute intellect. As a result of their separation from “”natural”” and “”good”” humans, the planet is on the verge of a global civil war aimed at eradicating the “”diseased”” populace. Ultraviolet, an infected alien, finds herself in the midst of this crossfire, saving a nine-year-old boy who has been targeted for death by the human government because he is considered a danger to humans.
