Max Renn, the president of a trashy TV station, is desperate for fresh content to keep audiences interested. Max sees a possible success as he comes across “”Videodrome,”” a TV show devoted to gratuitous cruelty and punishment, and streams it on his channel. Max explores the reality behind Videodrome after his girlfriend auditions for the show and never returns, and learns that the extreme action might not be as fake as he assumed.
