Viridiana is planning to join the convent when she is called to see her ailing uncle, Don Jaime, against her will. He backs her up, although they’ve just met once. Viridiana reminds Jaime of his late wife. Viridiana has secretly hated this guy her whole life, and her worst instincts are confirmed when Jaime becomes obsessed with seducing his virgin niece.
