Overview
The year is 1995, and the environment is Detroit. The city is separated along ethnic lines by 8 Mile, a path that cuts the city in half. Jimmy “”B-Rabbit”” Smith Jr., a young white artist, finds the inspiration inside himself to overcome these arbitrary barriers to achieve his dream of success in hip hop.
