Val, a recently paroled gangster, reunites with his former friends in crime, Doc and Hirsch, for a night on the town after spending 28 years in jail for inadvertently murdering the son of a crime lord. As the three men visit old haunts, reminisce about their glory days, and attempt to make up for lost time, one faces an awful dilemma: Doc has instructions to destroy Val, and time is running out for him to find out a way out.
