There are three lives. There is just one fate.

A historical drama set in England, Paris, and Spain in the 1930s. Gilda Bessé lives in Paris with Guy Malyon, an Irish schoolteacher, and Mia, a Spanish refugee. Gilda defiantly pursues her hedonistic lifestyle and emerging career as a photographer as the world descends into chaos. Guy and Mia, on the other hand, feel compelled to enter the anti-fascist war, and the three mates are split up.
