Overview
Isabella, the noble York family’s daughter, is enrolled in an all-girls academy to be groomed into a noble dame. She, on the other hand, has given up on her career, viewing the elite school as nothing more than a fortress apart from the rest of the planet. Her family realizes that she is failing in her studies and hires Violet Evergarden to mentor her privately under the guise of a handmaiden. Violet is initially treated coldly by Isabella. Violet seems to be born with a silver spoon and she seems to be able to do it well. After a while, Isabella realizes Violet has been through her own challenges and decides to open up to her. Isabella quickly discovers that she has missed touch with her adoring younger sibling, whom she longs to see again. Violet, having seen the strength of words by her previous clients, asks Isabella if she wants to send Taylor a note. Is Violet capable of assisting Isabella in communicating her thoughts to her long-lost sister?
