On the final leg of her book tour, Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro. She sees Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now dating, as well as her cousin Jill and Aunt Kate. Unfortunately, Sidney’s return coincides with Ghostface’s reappearance, placing Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, as well as Jill, her parents, and the whole town of Woodsboro, in risk.
