Franz and Arthur, two cinephile slackers, waste their days imitating the antiheroes of Hollywood noirs and Westerns while chasing Odile. Their romantic vision of outlaws eventually leads them to stage their own heist, but their lack of expertise may cause them to go out in a blaze of glory, which may be just what they seek.
