Overview
The Newtons live in a cozy house, but something appears to be lacking. A little puppy, who walks into their home and lives, fills this “”void.”” Beethoven, as he is known, develops into a massive dog, a St Bernard. Doctor Varnick, the nearby veterinarian, has a dark mystery that necessitates the use of certain pets in tests. Beethoven is on the list of poor doctors.
