Jesse journeys throughout Europe nine years later, delivering readings from a book he published about his night in Vienna with Celine. Celine tracks him down during his reading in Paris, and the two enjoy the rest of the day together until Jesse has to depart for another trip. They’re both in marriages now, and Jesse has a baby, but when their intense feelings for each other resurface, they both admit to a need for more.
