Aliens land on Earth thirty years earlier. Not to conquer or to help, just to find a safe haven from a dying world. Multi-National United, who is unconcerned with the aliens’ wellbeing but would do everything to master their sophisticated technologies, has them separated from humans in a South African region known as District 9. As a business field agent contracts a strange virus that starts to change his DNA, he has little choice but to flee to District 9.
