Gladys Leeman, a former winner, needs to make sure her daughter continues in her footsteps, as shown by bombings, crashing stars, and trailer fires. The police are unconcerned since the Leemans are the wealthiest family in town. Despite all, Amber Atkins, the biggest competitor (but sweetheart), isn’t going down without a storm.
