Edie Sedgwick, a rich debutante, encounters Andy Warhol, a musician, in the mid-1960s. She becomes Warhol’s muse after joining his popular Factory. Despite seeming to have it all, Edie is unable to find Andy’s passion, and she has an affair with a charming singer who encourages her to pursue freedom from the artist and the milieu.
