Life is never boring.
Ray Eddy, a trailer mom from upstate New York, is drawn into the web of illicit immigration smuggling. Ray reluctantly joins up with Lila, a smuggler, and the two begin making runs through the frozen St. Lawrence River transporting undocumented Chinese and Pakistani immigrants in the trunk of Ray’s Dodge Spirit, broke after her husband takes off with the down payment for their new doublewide.
