A record maker kidnaps four young alien performers and disguises them as humans. Shep, a space pilot who is head over heels in love with bassist Stella, accompanies them on Earth. The Crescendolls, renamed after being reprogrammed to forget their true selves, became a big hit performing soulless corporate punk. Shep tries to free all of the players except Stella at a concert, and the band sets out to rediscover their true selves — and to save Stella.
