Steve Ford is a private investigator in Venice Beach, California, who is decent with women, terrible with kicks, and crazy about his dog Buddy. As local thugs kidnap Buddy, Ford turns to their ruthless boss, Spyder, and forms an unexpected partnership with him. Steve calls up the heavy guns, with the aid of his best mate, to recover Spyder’s lost cash and drugs and rescue Buddy.
