Overview
Sarah is a French astronaut undergoing instruction at Cologne’s European Space Agency. She is the only female participant in the demanding program. Stella, her seven-year-old daughter, stays with her. Sarah feels bad about not being able to spend more time with her kids. Her passion feels suffocating and disturbing. When Sarah is selected to accompany the crew of Proxima, a year-long space trip, the mother-daughter partnership is thrown into disarray.
